Pareidolia honors retiring faculty member Professor Barbara L. Miller. The exhibition showcases recent work that Dr. Miller has created in collaboration with the artist Dimitri Katsaros, whom she has worked with since 2005. The exhibition title, Pareidolia, refers to the phenomenon of finding patterns in chaos. For the artists, as Dr. Miller explains, it "has become a metaphor for our artistic practice, which involves searching for patterns and connections in the interplay between light and dark. In essence, our work explores the liminal spaces where opposites merge and give rise to something new."
