Pressure Points: Recent Prints from the Jordan and Mina Schnitzer Foundation

Contemporary prints by artists from the Northwest to the East coast explore multiple processes in major themes: (1) the conceptual arrangement of visual clues; (2) the construction of an identity through autobiographical details and new personal effects; (3) the reflection of contemporary popular culture in its traditional form (print medium) as well as in its new format; (4) the provocation of society through strong, visual comments; (5) and the visual translation of the world through single words and/or mixed messages.
