Chairs: Embodied Objects

This unique exhibition features selections from Western's special collection of modern chairs begun by the Department of Home Economics in 1950. These icons of 20th century chair design include examples by international designers. Accompanying the university's collection from the twenties through the eighties are contemporary chairs created by 35 Northwest artists/designers.ans.
