Artist Joanna Pawlik will perform Stairs Piece with Bruce Nauman’s Stadium Piece (1998-1999). Stairs Piece is a site-specific iteration of Pawlik's ongoing performance work Schody (Stairs). This performance presents a unique and exciting collaboration between the exhibition Embodiment and WWU’s renowned Outdoor Sculpture Collection. A film documenting a 2022 performance of Schody is currently on view at the Western Gallery.
