WWUs Poets and Lyricists Society (PALS) will be facilitating an open mic night that operates as a space in which poets of all identities and experiences can perform their works. PALS intentionally designs a comfortable and entirely voluntary environment to allow the best expression of their art. Open-mic nights with PALS has fostered a unique and powerful scene that gave birth to Western’s first nationally competing slam team, one of a kind in the Pacific Northwest. “Misnomer” will be an evening of poetry and spoken word in relation to the exhibition, Knowledge Bennett: Road to Damascus.

Part of the exhibition KNOWLEDGE BENNETT: ROAD TO DAMASCUS at the Western Gallery through May 2.

Events and exhibitions are free and open to the public unless stated otherwise. Visitor information
