Dr. Peter Pihos is currently an Assistant Professor of History in the College of Humanities & Social Sciences. Pihos’s research interests include post-WWII black social and political history, criminal justice, urban history, political economy, state power, and legal history. He is currently teaching a course HIST 263: African American since 1865.

The Perspectives Series brings together scholars from a range of backgrounds and interests to lead informal 45-minute discussions of topics conjured by the art installations.
