A dialogue lead by Nathan W. Romond, Teaching and Learning Specialist at the Western Libraries and the Learning Commons alongside a selected panel of WWU guests. The panel will be discussing “How does the political context of art effect the way we consume it?” in relation to the Western Gallery’s current exhibition, Knowledge Bennett: Road to Damascus. Knowledge’s work appropriates pop culture imagery to address and critique American idealism, political corruption, and systematic racial stratification from past to the present.
